In-Home Care - Senior Helping Hands

Senior Helping Hands is the In Home Care program of Allies in Aging. Our goal is to help seniors remain independent in their own homes by providing respite care, homemaking, personal care and nursing services.

Eligibility for Senior Helping Hands is as follows:

  •  Currently living in Yellowstone County

  • Must be at least 60 years of age

  • Have a diagnosed chronic health problem which prevents or restricts the client's ability to perform chores and/or personal care

  • Not eligible for similar services through Medicaid or Veterans Affairs

  • Living independently (licensed assisted living or retirement homes are not eligible for services)

Once the application is completed and submitted, our Program Manager will reach out to schedule a complimentary, initial in-home care assessment. This assessment will help us determine the best services for you or your loved one.

In the assessment, we will cover:

  • You and/or your loved one's specific goals

  • You and/or your loved one's daily plan design and schedule

  • Pricing and payment methods

  • Implementation process

  • Ongoing Communication and follow-up plan

Nursing Services

Our Nursing Services include medication management, physical assessments, observe & report changes in health, regular communication with client's physician, & nail trimming.
