Partnering for Pets

Helping Seniors Keep Their Best Friends Happy and Healthy

Our Partnership with Pooch'z B&B Pet Pantry

Pooch'z B&B is a local nonprofit dedicated to giving senior dogs a safe,

loving forever home during their golden years. For more than six years, they have provided food, medical care, exercise, and compassionate support to senior dogs in need. Today, their organization cares for dozens of senior dogs with the help of a dedicated team of volunteers.

Through our partnership, Allies in Aging helps connect pet food resources directly to seniors who may be struggling to provide for their dogs while managing fixed incomes and rising expenses.

Supporting Seniors and Their Pets

Clients receiving Meals on Wheels and other home-based services through Allies in Aging may request dog food assistance as needed. Through weekly deliveries, we help ensure that both seniors and their faithful companions are cared for.

By reducing the burden of pet food costs, we can help seniors maintain the important bond they share with their pets while improving quality of life for both.

Community Support Makes It Possible

This program is powered by community generosity.

We welcome donations of:

  • Dry dog food

  • Wet dog food

  • Pet treats

  • Dog beds

  • Leashes and collars

  • Pet toys

Donations can be dropped off at Allies in Aging, 1505 Avenue D, Billings, MT.

At Allies in Aging, we know that pets are more than companions. They are family. For many older adults, a beloved dog provides comfort, purpose, routine, and connection. That's why we're proud to partner with Pooch'z B&B Pet Pantry to help ensure seniors and their canine companions have access to nutritious food when they need it most.

One of the ways our community supports this effort is through the Great Shred & Pet Food Drive.

This event gives community members the opportunity to safely shred sensitive documents while helping local pets and pet owners. Participants can bring up to four boxes of documents for shredding in exchange for donations of unopened pet food or pet supplies.

It's a simple way to protect yourself from identity theft while making a meaningful difference for seniors and their beloved pets.

Whether you're donating pet food, contributing supplies, participating in a pet food drive, or helping spread the word, your support helps keep pets in loving homes and strengthens the well-being of older adults throughout our community.

Together with Pooch'z B&B Pet Pantry, we're helping ensure that no senior has to choose between caring for themselves and caring for the companion who brings them joy.
