We’re excited to share that Allies in Aging is partnering with Pooch’z B&B Pet Pantry to help provide dog food to seniors and their beloved companions.

Pooch’z B&B is a nonprofit devoted to giving senior dogs a safe, loving forever home in their final years. For the past six years, they’ve provided nutritious food, medical care, exercise, and plenty of love to the dogs in their care.

Currently, Pooch’z supports 26 senior dogs, ranging from 10 to 16 years old and 8 to 150 pounds. Their work is made possible by more than 40 dedicated volunteers who help with daily care, walks, meal preparation, cleaning, and fundraising.

We’re proud to support our senior clients who may be struggling to provide food for their beloved dogs. Through weekly deliveries, we’ll help ensure their companions are cared for and never go without.

Clients receiving Meals on Wheels and other home-based services are welcome to request 3 lb bags of dog food as needed.

If you’d like to help, donations of dog food can be dropped off at 1505 Avenue D. Your generosity makes a meaningful difference for both our clients and their loyal companions.
