When Jack's* sister-in-law first called us, her worry was clear. Jack was a kind, independent man who had built a good life in Billings, but as time went on, daily tasks were becoming overwhelming. His family was terrified he was losing the support he needed to stay independent in the home he loved. That’s where Allies in Aging stepped in - and that's where your generosity makes all the difference.

Because of support from people like you, Jack immediately began receiving in-home care through our Senior Helping Hands program. But, we know aging is about more than just physical support. To combat the loneliness that often comes with limited mobility, we matched him with a Friend Companion who provided regular encouragement and connection.
But we didn’t stop there.
We helped Jack secure Medicaid and SNAP benefits through our Resource Center, ensuring he could afford the care and resources he qualified for.
Our Pantry Pals program arranged grocery deliveries right to his door.
We helped him apply for Para-Transit to safely reach essential medical appointments.
We Need Your Help To Keep This Lifeline Open.
Jack’s story is a beautiful example of how we walk alongside older adults and their families, offering resources, guidance, and relief. When the time came for Jack to transition to an assisted living facility - a big step toward safety and stability - our team was there to help him clear his apartment and finalize the move with dignity and ease.
Give today so our most vulnerable neighbors continue receiving the support that keeps them safe, connected, and independent.
Your gift today - no matter the size - ensures that when the next phone call comes from a worried family member, we can answer immediately with vital help, just as we did for Jack.
